We guess this is the part where we can shamelessly tell you how wonderful and fabulous Funky Olive is and a little bit about how we started...

The original Funky Olive was founded by designer/maker Sophie Handa (nee Bentley) back in 2004 and was born from her passion for colour, shape, texture, movement and also a love of beautiful accessories. Bored of seeing the same pieces everywhere Sophie wanted to design and make something a little different to what was available on the high street and so the company was created.

All our jewellery is handcrafted to a high standard & made from a mix of gemstones, glass, wood & sterling silver all ethically sourced from around the world. Due to the nature of gemstones, each piece will vary slightly in colour, tone & size to those shown...making each piece as individual as you are! Every care has been taken in making our jewellery and we ask that you please take care in wearing & looking after it.

Funky Olive has slowly grown over the years and our collection now encompasses a selection of beautiful, hand chosen accessories together with unusual gifts for the home & garden, for little ones, our four legged friends and will soon be introducing a selection of vintage, antique and re-cycled finds!

Where possible we aim to support British designed and made products in our Cool Britannia Campaign and you will find some unusual and different items sourced from some great 'homegrown' companies. As the months go by and the seasons change we aim to bring you more lovely goodies to choose from, keeping our collections fresh, interesting and an inspiration for present buying!
