Shades come with a removable plastic insert to allow use with a UK or European fitting.
All lampshades are lined with a white fire resistant PVC panel, which has passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. I recommended using a low energy saving bulb.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for your shades to be made for you. It's often much quicker than this, but please allow for this time.
